Welcome to the Baltic Surf Report. My Baltic Surf Report.

This is a blog by me, Siimon Rampe, based on the connection that exists between my two homes; Australia and Estonia.

Why "The Baltic Surf Report"? The Baltic has no surf. Well...99% of the year it doesn't. The title has three elements that are important to me; surfing, the Baltic (but mostly Estonia), and reporting back to my family. It's about what's going on with me and my family and friends and will no doubt keep my parents interested, or anyone else with a vague interest in human displacement.

So if your like me and were born in one place but feel you belong in another, then we have something in common. But if your a person who was born in one place and knows you belong there, then this might help go some of the way to explaining why people like me spend our lives in a geographical haze until we find the place that 'clicks' for us.

So sit back in a comfortable chair, and let me tell you about a time...........
